Supervisor Helsley was absent. Board Members in attendance included: Dick Neese, Steve Baker, Dennis Morris, Sharon Baroncelli and David Ferguson.

County Administrator Vince Poling, Assistant County Administrator Mary T. Price and Budget Manager Garland Miller also were in attendance.

Invocation and Pledge were lead by Supervisor Morris.

PUBLIC HEARING
- To hear public comment pursuant to Title 15.2, Chapter 25 and Title 22.1 Chapter 8 of the Code of Virginia as amended, on the proposed budget for fiscal year 2010-2011. The proposed budget is for informative and fiscal planning purposes only and includes departmental expenditures totaling $92,538,675

The Board Room reached maximum occupancy as supporters of the 4-H program attended and
spoke on behalf of the project associate position being eliminated from the program. There
were 20 speakers requesting the position be spared.

Additional speakers included supporters of Friends of the North Fork; the Sheriff's Department; the Lord Fairfax Water & Soil Conservation; Apple Valley Mediation and the Archivist Position at the County Library.

No action taken at tonight's meeting.
