1. Approval of minutes from the May 11, 2010 regular personnel committee meeting and May 19, 2010 special personnel committee meeting. Action: Minutes approved as presented. 2. Consideration to fill the vacant Circulation Supervisor position at the Library. Action: Committee recommended to the full board approval of Circulation position at The County Library. 3. Consideration to fill the Economic Development/Tourism Director position. Action: Chairman Neese recommended staff continue to look at the position being split into two separate positions and bring their thoughts back in August. Ms. Baroncelli asked that the Ag Director position be discussed too. 4. Consideration of a resolution to offer employees the option of a Long Term Care Insurance program through the Virginia Retirement System. Action: Committee recommended to the full board adopting a resolution giving employees the option of participating in the program at no cost to the county. 5. Consideration of a resolution to implement new plan provisions for NEW employees VRS contribution. Action: Committee recommended to the full board that staff continue the contribution as is to keep consistency with all employees' payroll deductions. 6. Consideration to enter into Closed Session under Section 2.2-3711 (A) (1) of the Code of Virginia, to discuss an appointment to the Lord Fairfax Community College Board and the Travel Council 7. Consideration of appointment. Action: Committee appointed Mr. Lee Sterner to the LFCC Board to replace the unexpired term of Thomas Price and Allen Lefever to the Travel Council.
8. Consideration to enter into Closed Session under Section 2.2-3711 (A) (1) of the Code of Virginia to discuss performance of a specific employee and Section 2.2-3711 (A) (7) of the Code of Virginia to discuss legal matters with legal counsel regarding specific board protocols concerning employment matters. No action taken.
