1. Approval of minutes from the November 14, 2007 Personnel meeting.

Action: Minutes approved as presented.

2. Consideration to enter into closed session under Section 2.2-3711 (A) (1) of the Code of
Virginia, to discuss a reappointment to the Northwestern Community Services Board and
appointments to the Parks & Recreation Advisory Board and the Industrial Development
Authority.

3. Consideration of appointments.

*Action: Committee recommended to the full board:
The re-appointment of April McClain to a 3 year term with the NWCSB;
The appointment of Jim Douglas as the New Market representative to
the P&R Adv Board Committee
The appointment of Ted Ray as the District 5 IDA representative to fill
the unexpired term of Lloyd Hartman who resigned.

4. Consideration of a request for an intern in the GIS department.

*Action: Committee recommended to the full board the request for a GIS intern for 240
hours at a cost of $2160.00

5. Consideration of a personnel policy change.

*Action: Committee recommended to the full board personnel policy changes, attached
as part of the personnel packet.

6. Other unfinished business:

Follow up discussion from March 1 meeting regarding Economic Development
and Tourism.

7. Adjournment - Meeting was adjourned at 9:30am.
