1. Approval of minutes from the May 12, 2009 Personnel Committee meeting.
Action: Minutes approved as presented.

2. Consideration of a request to hire a part time Custodian at the County Library.
Action: Committee recommends to the full board at the night meeting the hiring of a part-time custodian and to transfer the duties of Shen Paco staff to another county location or department.

3. Consideration of a request from Sheriff Carter to replace two vacant deputy positions.
Action: Committee recommends to the full board at the night meeting filling the vacant positions to keep staffing at a normal level.

4. Request to enter into Closed Session under Section 2.2-3711 (A) (1) of the Code of Virginia, to discuss appointments to the Lord Fairfax EMS Council, Northwestern Community Services Board and the Library Board of Trustees.

5. Consideration of appointments.
Action: Committee recommends to the full board the appointment of Richard B. Ryan to the Library Board to fill an unexpired term.
Appointments for LFEMS and NWCSB are still being considered and will be discussed at a later date.
