What time do you close?

Our hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

What are the landfill dumping fees ?

Regular Commercial Trash - $36.00 per ton
Rough/Construction (large pieces of concrete, large rocks, pavement) - $52.50 per ton
Recyclables (Metal/Appliances) - $18.00 per ton
Brush/Wood Waste - $36.00 per ton
Rough Wood Waste (stumps) - $52.50 per ton

Can I bring tires to the Landfill and how much does it cost?

Yes we accept tires at the Landfill only, not at the Compactor sites.

Passenger - $1.00, Truck - $5.00, Tractor - $10.00

What do I do with old paint, motor oil, batteries, computers and anti-freeze?

The Landfill considers these items as hazardous waste and can only accept them at the Landfill. These items are not accepted at the compactor sites located throughout the County. There are designated locations at the Landfill for these items. When you arrive at the gate, please let them know if you any paint, motor oil, batteries, computers and anti-freeze and they will direct you.

Do you take wood ashes?

Yes we do. There are ash cans located at the Landfill and at the Compactor sites located throughout the County.

How much does it cost to dispose of dead livestock?

The Landfill accepts dead livestock, but an appointment for disposal is required. The cost is $5.00 for under 400 pounds and $10.00 for over 400 pounds. They are accepted three times of the day – 9:00 a.m. , 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m , but not on Saturdays. Please call for an appointment at 984-8573 . Dead livestock is only accepted at the Landfill.

Can I bring brush and stumps to the Landfill?

There is no charge for the homeowner if the brush and stumps are on a pick up truck load. Anything larger than pick up truck load is charged $52.50 per ton for stumps and $36.00 per ton for brush. Brush and stumps are only accepted at the Landfill and not at the Compactor sites.

Does the Landfill sell mulch?

Yes; a Bobcat load is $8.00 and a Loader load is $12.00. Mulch is loaded until 3:30 pm.

Can the crushed glass at the Landfill be purchased?

No

Can I dispose of my old sofa or furniture at the Landfill?

Yes, at the Landfill only. Furniture is not accepted at the Compactor Sites.

What can I do with the asbestos shingles?

You must call the Landfill office, 984-8573 to dispose of asbestos products.

Is there a charge for my household trash that is brought to the Landfill?

There is no charge to the homeowner if they bring their trash to the Landfill for disposal. All commercial carriers are charged.
