Congratulations to the participants of the Local Hershey Track & Field Meet held on Saturday, May 12. 1st and 2nd place finishers qualified to move on to the District Meet to be held on Saturday, June 2 at 11:00am at the Central Campus Track!

- The next Saturday Night Stargazing will be held on Saturday, May 19, 8:00pm, at the Shenandoah County Park. We have a very special event coming up in June too; watch for more info. posted here! For those of you with a stargazing/astronomy interest, remember that Shenandoah County Park has its own Clear Sky Chart. This is the weather info. SCPR and our volunteer astronomers use to determine if our stargazing events will go forward or not. The website gives you cloud cover information and is very, very accurate. So, for the next event, you can check the Clear Sky Chart for the park and see what the weather will be like; visit: http://cleardarksky.com/c/ShndhCPVAkey.html?1 .

Through a partnership with the Virginia Recreation and Park Society and several other parks and recreation agencies in the state, we have created a wonderful trip opportunity! Please click on the picture of the Summer Brochure to open a PDF file of the entire brochure. The Summer Brochure will be in your mailbox on or before May 7. Registration for Summer programs will begin May 7, and the brochure contains programs from June 1-September 15, 2012.
