Program Updates
Be sure to stop by our new offices and check out our disc golf merchandise. We're selling Innova, Discraft, Lightning, and Discmania and have tons of putters, mid-ranges, and distance drivers to choose from. We just re-stocked our disc golf bag selection as well as our beginner's 3-paks. And don't miss out on the upcoming Maurertown Ice Bowl on Sunday, February 5! Ice Bowl starts at 12:00pm; $20/player + canned good. $2/player additional charge if no canned good. Ice Bowl Disc with registration.

On pg. 19 of the Spring Brochure, the Pennsylvania Dutch Country bus trip has incorrect pricing listed. One of the items was not included in the pricing accidently. Those prices should be listed as follows: $385 (single-occupancy), $285 (double-occupancy), and $259 (triple-occupancy).

The 2nd Annual Strasburg Duathlon is set for Saturday, April 14 and registration is now open at http://www.active.com/triathlon/strasburg-va/2nd-annual-strasburg-duathlon-2012 . This year's event will start at 8:00am and will include a 5k run, 30k bike, and 5k run. New this year will be team registration, allowing for either two-person or three-person teams. Registration is open until April 12; take advantage of early registration to avoid late fees and please remember that USAT non-members pay an additional fee because this is a sanctioned event. You do not have to be a USAT member to participate. Event info. is also posted at the link above.
Saturday Night Stargazing will re-start in March, 2012; keep your eye open for a complete schedule here soon. We have a very special event coming up in June too! For those of you with a stargazing/astronomy interest, Shenandoah County
Park now has its own Clear Sky Chart. This is the weather info. SCPR
and our volunteer astronomers use to determine if our stargazing events
will go forward or not. The website gives you cloud cover information
and is very, very accurate. So, for the next event, you can check the
