The Toms Brook-Maurertown Sanitary District, created in 1990 provides water and sewer service to the Toms Brook and Mauertown areas of Shenandoah County, Virginia. The Sanitary District also operates the septage treatment facility for the County of Shenandoah. The Sanitary District is governed by the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors.
