Shenandoah County accepts payments in person at 600 N. Main St., Suite 105, Woodstock, VA 22664 or by mail to P.O. Box 365, Woodstock, VA 22664. Payment is accepted in the form of cash, check or money order.

Taxes may also be paid by credit card online at: www.shenandoahcountyva.us .

A 24/7 drop box is located on the east side of the County Government Center at the Clock Tower entrance. Payments left in the drop box on the due date will be considered timely if left by midnight. Payments left after midnight will be subject to penalty and interest.

Payments that are postmarked on or before the deadline(s) will be considered timely. To reduce the burden on the tax payer, the Treasurer's office makes every effort to mail tax bills at least 30 days before the tax deadline.
