Special Elections to fill town council vacancies in Edinburg, New Market, and Strasburg will also be held on November 8^th.

All polling places will be open from 6:00am until 7:00pm.

Monday, October 17^th - Deadline to register to vote for this election.

Friday, September 23^rd - Absentee voting will begin daily in the General Registrar's office.

Saturday, October 29^th 8:30am-4:30pm - Additional hours for absentee voting .

Saturday, Novermber 5^th - Final day of absentee voting in the Office of the General Registrar.

Tuesday, November 1^st - Final day for submitting an Absentee Ballot Application to the General Registrar's Office requesting a ballot by mail.

If you are not currently a registered voter in Shenandoah County, you must register to vote at least 21 days prior to the election. If you are a registered voter in Shenandoah County and to need to update your address, you must submit the change to the Registrar's Office at least 21 days prior to the election in which you wish to vote. Candidates - Candidate Campaign Packets for all elections are available at Virginia State Board of Elections. Petitions for town offices may not be circulated until after January 1, 2011.
