Shenandoah Watershed Hero Homes

More than 22,000 households live in the watershed in Shenandoah County. Individually our impact may not seem like much, but collectively we can all work together to ensure we enjoy our watershed now and in the future.

Be a Shenandoah Watershed Hero!

Across Shenandoah County, there are Watershed Heroes everywhere. Each is dedicated to making an impact on our community and committed to taking actions to protect our waterways. Our Watershed Hero Homes all pledge to commit to five actions to keep local rivers and streams healthy and clean. Many commit to properly disposing of pollutants, installing a rain barrel on their property, or scooping the poop. Joining as a Watershed Hero Home is free, easy, and it’s the right thing to do. We will give you a free welcome packet as a thank you for joining! Contribute to healthy rivers, thriving valleys and sign up today!
